Shire Famous Pies - The pie that loves football

The Pie that loves Football

It turns out that pies and football go together like, well, steak and kidney. Or meat and potatoes. Up and down the land, when things aren’t going well, football fans find comfort in a hot pie at half time.

In fact, our Chicken Balti Pies are the number 1 half time snack in Premiership stadiums. It’s not surprising. The combination of tender chicken, spicy sauce and yummy savoury pastry is just… perfect. If you haven’t tried one, you must!

Shire are the market leaders in supplying pies to stadiums, with 3 million football and rugby fans each year warming themselves up with a pie. It is very possible that for fans of certain clubs the only moment of pleasure on a match day comes from their pie.
